I currently work at the Srp site. It is not the same thing as the CRC. CRC goes to us for processing which includes ISOPREP, Record of Emergency Data for DD93, Chaplain, JAG, and the COMMON ACCESS Card.

Currently all Contractors are being processed at Camp Atterbury, as of Sept, 1 2011 Contractors do not process through CRC or got o the SRP Site. Commonn Acces Cards are not done at the SRP for contractors deploying into theater. Contractors have to go through camp Atterbury.
To clear up some of the issues about the Common Access Cards, your company can make sure that you will not be a CVS NO GO before you sign with the CRC. They are screenshots and even phone numbers that the liason can call. They even have to test annually in order to enetr the data in the system correctly. the task belongs to the contarcting company who accepted the governmet bid. It is best to have a POC to contact when something goes wrong because alot of the times the mistakes could have beeen fixed before the person even sat down in the chair, however it all goes back to being PROACTIVE.

I have recently returned to Georgia from Iraq, after a two-month vacation. I need to return a gas mask and my CAC card. I am told that Ft. Benning is closed to civilians, and that a return of any gear involves a trip to Indianapolis. As I only have a gas mask and canister to return (and a CAC card), I hesitate to make theexpensive trip. I would, however, like to receive money for a returned gas mask. Advice? Can I get this done at Ft. Benning???
Thanks.

An excellent article. It is interesting to read your views on it. I am a UK operator, I served eleven years in the British Army. I currentl work overseas and am amazed at how few people have the foresight to plan for the inevitable rotation back to the world. They are going to have to leave at some point. In my article I describe how to set small goals and plug away during your rotations in theatre, I tihnk mayeb you might find it useful, it is certianly popular with UK operators. It is called Close Protection and Continuous Professional Development, you can find it here: http://blog.networkingdates.com/close-protection/close-protection-and-continuous-professional-development/

I have dealt with 2 deployments. The 2nd time my youngest child was only 3 months old. We moved when my husband got back he got a job and things have suddenly gotten harder. So now my husband is talking about going back over again. To be honest the 2nd deployment did not help our marriage. Ive been supportive but dont want to do it again. I guess I dont have a choice. Thinking about moving back with my mom while hes gone for help. I hate this shit.
